Parque Mesa del Mar is located on the northern coast midway between Puerto
de la Cruz and Santa Cruz, in an area known as the vineyard of Tenerife.
The resort is arranged in terraces interspersed with gardens, and it has
spectacular ocean views. There is a large heated swimming pool and sun
deck, garden chess, table tennis, and a tennis court. A car would be
useful to enjoy the many attractions of this vacation island, but there is
a shuttle bus and organized excursions on site. This resort is not
suitable for those with walking difficulties.

DIRECTIONS
BY AIR: Nearest Airport: Los Rodeos (NorthTenerife) 12kms or Reina Sofia
(Tenerife South) 80kms. BY ROAD: From airport (ReinaSofia), take the
motorway towards Santa Cruz. Take exit 6-a-b signposted 'Conexion
Autopista del Norte - TF2'. Follow signs for Puerto de la Cruz - TF5,
passing 'Los Rodeos' (North) airport. Take exit 19 (Tacoronte - TF152).
Follow sign C820 Tacoronte. At the end of this road, turn right entering
Tacoronte. Turn left at the major junction (TF16 sign on hill) and follow
the road. After approx. 3kms, turn left (signposted Parque Mesa del Mar on
the left). Go down a steep hill and follow the one-way system, keeping to
the left hand side. The resort is on the right.

There are studios for 2 with a murphy bed (two singles), 1 BR units for 4
with twin beds and a double sofa-bed, and 2BR units for 6 with twin beds
and a double sofa-bed. All have partial kitchens, the studios have two hob
rings, a small oven, toaster and kettle and coffee maker. The others have
a standard oven. All units have satellite television with a central video
channel, telephone and hairdryer. Maid service is twice a week. There is a
shuttle service to Puerto de la Cruz (a small charge is made for this).
Pool hours are from 0800 to 2200. Towels for pool are available from
reception with a refundable deposit. A returnable security deposit payable
upon arrival and a fixed charge for electricity. Credit cards and
travellers' cheques are accepted. Pet dogs are allowed at the resort up to
5 kilos, but must be registered before arriving. The maximum occupancy of
the unit cannot be exceeded (adults and children count alike). There are
steps to the reception area, the restaurant and the pool area and a few to
