This is the view we got from the top of Chimney Rock in North Carolina during our hike. This hike is one of the active things we did during our stay at Lake Lure. I think it was about 500 steps to the top. There's also a lovely walk to a waterfall where a scene from the movie The Last of the Mohicans was filmed. Have you done this hike?

Each morning in Nashville we'd park our car along Titans Way in front of the football stadium across the river from the city (free parking tip as parking in the city is expensive and limited) and then walk over the pedestrian bridge into the city. We got great views of the skyline as seen in this photo of Kalyra and Savannah with their pop taking in the scene.
